In part 2 of our series on Trip Planning for Truck Driving School Students we are looking at the basic principals needed to track your trips. In truck school this issue is discussed and often called the key to making more money. We wanted to provide a few tips to help you track your trips so that you can meet the goals of a profitable well planned trip.



Review your trip JD Truck Training Centre plan often so you'll know where you are as far as meeting your goals. Also, when you review your plan, make adjustments as needed to improve the plan if you can. Remember to ask for that early delivery so you can reload.

Everything from braking and grabbing gears; to following distance, lane changes, exit ramps and knowing who's around you, truck driving is a thinking man's game. Thinking ahead is the name of the game. Then everything falls into a natural rhythm.

Accreditation refers to schools that have been accredited by an agency that has been approved by the U.S. Department of Education. Only Truck driving school that have been accredited are entitled to have access to federal student grants and loans. There are very few truck driving schools that have achieved accreditation because of the tough standards and the expensive process. A truck driving school that has been accredited, shows that they have met the highest standards for education.

These bonuses are common at the larger trucking companies. Sure they HOPE you're gonna be an outstanding truck driver, but more than anything they just desperately need your butt in one of their trucks. Period.

The schooling began with nothing but classroom study for the first week or two. If you decide to attend driving school at a HR Truck Licence company....let the propaganda begin! They won't waste any chance at promoting themselves, believe me. They will also make you feel like it is your privilege to be working for them. Get used to that. Now here's your first piece of raw truth about the industry... companies are completely and totally desperate for truck drivers. I mean DESPERATE!

This job's main advantage is that you get to see places where you have never been. Even though it might scare you at first, with a Truck driving school map and precise directions you shouldn't worry about it. From the seaside to the mountains and deserts, you will see everything. If you go in different states and meet new people, you will learn new accents and customs. It is all about making a living and at the same time live your life. When you will grow old, and you will have grandchildren, you'll be able to tell them that you've seen many places in your life, and even help them with geography.

You may be witness to historical events and not even know it. Additionally, you will have some time to spare in the cities you go, so don't worry about learning only the docks, parking lots and warehouses. If you are a sociable person and you don't like routine, this job is made for you. You will never eat at the same hour. Sometimes you will not even get to sleep. But that shouldn't be a problem since you can taste new out-of-the-ordinary food every couple of days and sleep in the comfort of different hotels.
